Promote the Religious Recognition programs offered by faith communities to the troop/groups/girls of the sevice unit. |

VOLUNTEER SUPPORT: Council Religious Relationships Coordinator
STAFF SUPPORT: Program Manager
TERM OF OFFICE: June 1 to May 31 (one year)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Within the framework of GSUSA and SIGS, insure that compliance with the regulations governed by the following are met: Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Position Statements, governmental and affiliated organization regulations and standards.
Provide troops/groups/girls with information about all faith communities Religious Recognition programs.
Encourage the observance of Girl Scout Sabbath/Girl Scout Sunday.
Promote distribution of Girl Scout Sabbath/Girl Scout Sunday promotional flyer to local congregations.
In collaboration with the District Religious Recognition Coordinator, advise representatives of the local faith communities within the service unit about Girl Scouting and the Religious Recognition programs available
Perform other duties as assigned.
