Serve as a liaison between their faith community and the San Jacinto Girl Scout council.

ORGANIZATION
RELATIONSHIPS:
REPORTS TO: Council Religious Recognition Coordinator
VOLUNTEER SUPPORT: Respective Faith Community
STAFF SUPPORT: Faith Community staff and SIGS Program Manager
TERM OF OFFICE: June 1 to May 31 (one year)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
-Within the framework of GSUSA and SIGS, insure that compliance with the regulations governed by the following are met: Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Position Statements, governmental and affiliated organization regulations and standards.
-Serve as a liaison between the faith community and the San Jacinto Council.
a. advise their faith community of the religious recognition programs offered to Girl Scouts.
b. Advise Council of opportunities to share information concerning religious recognition programs available to Girl Scouts in their faith, i.e., during meetings, conferences, etc.
c. Provide Council with current information on opportunities for spiritual development for Girls Scouts of their faith.
-Encourage the observance of Girl Scout Sabbath/Girl Scout Sunday.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
