Four
Basic Steps |
1. The girl must obtain the specific booklet for her religion.
· Each girl needs her own booklet.
· Some religions offer counselor manuals and mentor books.
· Get booklets from council store OR directly from each religious organization/committee.
2. Parents should review the program guidelines.
· Is membership in a local religious institution required?
· Specific age/grade requirements?
· Who can serve as a councelor?

3. Families should talk to their religious leaders and if possible show them the booklet before beginning any program.
· Must be completed under auspices of religious organization
· May require signature of local religious leader
4. The Girl Scout must complete the requirements, obtain the proper signatures, and follow the instructions to order the recognition or pin.
· Pins are not available in girl Scout store
· Award ceremony in the girl's religious institution
· Girl Scout Sunday/Sabbath in March
