P.R.A.Y. Board Passes "Katrina"
Policy
The
P.R.A.Y. Board of Directors, at their September meeting,
expressed concern for Scouts whose lives were disrupted by
Hurricane Katrina. The Board voted unanimously to implement the
honor system among Scouts whose work on the God and Country
program was lost due to Hurricane Katrina and to grant them the
right to wear the medal. Scouts who have lost all paperwork may
petition P.R.A.Y. to be registered as God and Country
recipients. Here are the steps to follow:
1.
Submit your request
online. This form asks for a brief statement and the
specific program that you were working on. Upon receipt of your
request, P.R.A.Y. will send via email a special
application/registration form.
2. Print
the special application/registration form, complete all
information, sign it, and return it to P.R.A.Y. for processing.
[Please
note: The P.R.A.Y. Board administers the God and Country program
for Protestant churches. This action pertains only to the God
and Country program; it does not apply to all religious emblems
programs.] |
