Boy Scout Summer Camp Duty to God Program Requirements (for youth & adults)

1.           Participants must complete the four requirements:

a.    Attend a religious service at Camp

b.    Participate in at least three daily devotionals with your troop or appropriate group at Camp

c.   Say grace before meals *

d.    The Troop Chaplain Aide and the Scout leader must promise to obtain and review the “Duty to God” religious emblems brochure [No. 5-879] and make a presentation at a regular troop meeting. 2.           Participants must obtain the Chaplain Aide's signature to certify completion of the requirements.

3.         Scouts and leaders can purchase a Duty to God patch from the trading post.

* Option: Some Councils that have camp graces may require campers to memorize the camp grace and then recite and explain it to the chaplain.
