According to AHG, the Troop Shepherd should “Be the ‘go to’ person for the Faith Awards Program in the Troop or delegate to others. [And] Encourage all girls to participate in the Faith Awards Programs of their denomination.”

The Troop Shepherd is responsible for much more than the Faith Awards Program. The Troop Shepherd is to encourage the spiritual growth of Girl and Adult members through devotionals, Bible studies, etc.

Check out the Bible Basics RP3 series, a free curriculum for all ages including adults. Use the RP3 series in a combined setting, ask older girls to help lead sessions, or take the Bible patches to camp.
