Guidelines

One-on-one sessions or classes, whether in-person or virtual, should be robust and not “shortcut” the program but provide instruction and opportunity for interaction to help each child fulfill the requirements and grow stronger in their Christian faith. It is important that the P.R.A.Y. awards be offered in connection with a pastor and local congregation. Here are the general guidelines.

Teaching Resources for Parents

Recognizing that faith formation starts in the home, parents may serve as counselors for their own child(ren) at home when resources in their congregation are not available. Be sure to contact your pastor before starting a program. Enjoy your time interacting with your child as you discuss your faith and grow closer to each other and to God.
